CHEVIGNY ROUSSEAU

Established in 1947 by Lucien Chevigny in Vosne Romanee, this 4-hectare Domaine began its vineyard cultivation in the esteemed "Aux Champs Perdrix" plot, situated above La Tache. This strategic location elevates their village wine to an exceptional level.

 

Since 1984, Pascal Chevigny, the third-generation proprietor, has overseen operations, gradually preparing to pass the torch to his daughter Alexandrine. Hence, the Domaine's name combines their paternal and maternal surnames.

 

Chevigny Rousseau boasts an impressive portfolio with remarkable vineyard exposure in Vosne Romanee and Chambolle Musigny. They have privileged access to premier crus such as Les Beaumonts, Petit Monts, and Combottes. The inclusion of Grand Crus Echezeaux and Grands Echezeaux further enhances the Domaine's range, adding depth and sophistication.

 

The vineyards are meticulously tended and have obtained the HVE certification, a prestigious accolade for exceptional sustainable agriculture practices. Grapes are exclusively hand- picked and undergo 100% destemming, while natural yeast facilitates alcohol fermentation.
