FABRICE MARTIN
Domaine Fabrice Martin, situated in the renowned village of Vosne Romanée, neighbors the former residence of the esteemed Henri Jayer. This area is renowned for producing some of the world's finest and most exceptional wines.
Fabrice Martin hails from a family with a rich winemaking heritage, with his father establishing Domaine Martin-Noblet in 1972, initially catering to relatives, friends, and select restaurants. Fabrice embarked on his career by interning at DRC, where he honed his winemaking techniques. In 2000, he assumed control of the domaine from his father, cultivating wines across three appellations and covering 3.5 hectares.
The Vosne Romanée and Gevrey Chambertin vineyards boast vines aged between 60 and 80 years, while the Nuits-Saint-Georges vines are approximately 40 years old. However, in recent years, Fabrice made the deliberate choice to concentrate his efforts exclusively on crafting Vosne Romanée wines. With an annual production ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 bottles depending on the vintage, his wines are exceptionally rare and challenging to obtain.
